My Journey, So Far...

Hi Guys! Welcome to my personal website and blog! In case you may not have guessed by now, the names Dom! I'm a 23-year-old content creator and travel blogger from the UK. Without wanting to bore you I’ll try and keep this short and sweet; so this is my story so far...

I have always been a huge travel enthusiast; ever since I was little chipper I was fortunate enough to have visited some amazing places in the world. Fast forward to the age of 18 and the end of my secondary school education, there was only one thing on my mind... TRAVEL!

After my first solo adventure, the so-called, 'travel bug' was caught and no matter what I did I was always thinking of escaping to the next destination. At 22, I took the leap, left my job and set off for my next adventure. Since then my list of places I want to visit has become never-ending and I’m on a mission to tick them off one by one.

​In today’s crazy world I believe you must bring everything to the table if you want to succeed; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your passions. All of these elements brought me to start Doms Discoveries. I started my Instagram page (@doms_discoveries) in March 2018 having lived in Australia for the previous year (and a bit). The idea first came around as just a personal page to document my travels, but with the help from people like you reading this, it is slowly but surely growing to be something bigger than just a personal album of photos. This is when I realised I wanted to start using it as a platform to inspire more people to do what they love doing. Whether it be travel related or not, life's too short to be stuck doing what you don’t want to be doing, and that’s something I certainly live by. It’s simple, ‘If you don’t like it, change it’!

The idea behind my blog, like many, is to document my travels whilst also putting my own twist on it. So expect some awesome content, funky tips and tricks with some blogs thrown in for good measure.
